Our Mission Statement

At Algate Advisors, we not only want you to secure the most appropriate coverage and cost, but we also want to ensure you understand what you are paying for when you purchase your policy. We will take the time to explain all the different coverage options to you so that you have a thorough understanding of your insurance needs and what your policy covers.

The motive behind our mission.

Julie Owen founded Algate Insurance Advisors in 2007 after working several years at a captive agency. Captive agents sell insurance for only one company and have no options if that company decides to raise rates. While working there, Julie spent much of her time having to apologize to clients for their rising premiums and the fact that she had no alternative to offer them. She watched as one client after another walked out the door, looking for better coverage and lower prices—so she decided to do something about it.

Our goal is to serve you as a lifelong client.

To better serve the needs of her clientele, Julie started Algate Insurance Advisors. As an independent agency, Algate Advisors works with many different companies to ensure that you have the most favorable rates and coverage available. If your auto or homeowner’s rates increase with one company, we will re-quote your insurance with other companies and compare premiums, moving you if we can get a better rate with the same coverage. We want to make sure you get the most appropriate coverage at a comfortable price.
